Event Description

Fancy a lovely day out? Then jump aboard the WTFood train! Taste local beers and bites, and discover how to grow your some of your own tasty treats. Spend a Saturday immersing yourself in the wonders of the Brisbane food scene with wine in hand as you walk along the river.

WTFood? is a half-day walking tour that will delve deep into the Brisbane Food Scene. Meet the faces, places and stories, behind your food. Get your questions answered as you engage with local entrepreneurs and get hands deep in DIY workshops and delicious tastings. Indulge in your crush on food while investigating the broader food system and how it works! 

Tickets: $50 or bring a friend and get 2 for $90

***Includes a locally sourced lunch picnic by the Picnic Club, Beer tasting at Green Beacon Newstead, take home goodie pack with taste testers and a DIY Veggies workshop by Spurtopia..... 1 more visit TBC!***

GrowVetiver

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
