  • I'm really excited to be working with the great people at Wandering Cooks to bring to you this workshop where you can learn how to make your own net-positive product entirely from upcycled materials.

Come along and join in the design process; from conceptualising, sketching, sourcing materials and ultimately fabricating you own self-watering planter. Whats better than growing your own food at home? Growing you own food in something you have made yourself!

The purpose of the day is two-fold. Firstly, we want to share some of our upcycling and design learning with you so as you can make your own net-positive product to take home with you. Secondly, we will all be making a second planter which will attach to a green wall located at Wandering Cooks. Wandering Cooks provides a space for start-up food businesses and social enterprises to produce their own food at a semi-commercial level. We want to be able to share the benefits and provide small amounts of fresh fruit and vegetables for them to use!

It is shaping up to be a great morning: come along with yourselves, a smile and your creative hat on! I will provide all necessary tools and materials (if you have saw's, stanley knives, metal rulers, etc I'd kindly ask you bring them along too). The workshop cost will be $15 to cover the space and materials; this can be paid in person when you arrive.

Look forward to seeing you all there!
