Welcome to our next Top Bar Beekeeping Workshop
A safe exploration of basic activities of top bar beekeeping, including initial set up, hive inspection and honey extraction.
Date: Sunday September 30 2018
Time: 9:00am - noon (including a tea break)
Address: Alderley, Brisbane
Fee: $50 for individuals, $90 for couples
What to wear: Light coloured, long sleeved shirts, trousers and closed shoes, socks, leather gloves and a hat.
Veils are provided: Please let us know if you are bringing your own.
Who should attend:
Anyone who would like to get an introduction, and some up-close experience, with European honeybees in a top bar hive.
People who are interested in keeping a top bar hive, and want to gain confidence and basic knowledge, or just to find out if beekeeping is for them.

Numbers are limited, and these workshops usually book out.
