Learn how to garden in harmony with nature, making the task of creating and caring for a well designed and beautiful garden so much easier. A Sustainable garden is both beautiful and easy to care for, but is also good for the planet (not to mention our hip pockets!).
This workshop jumps into the mud feet first with 2 big topics - soil care and water use. Soil and water are the fundamentals of a great garden, so they are worth getting to know and understand. They can also literally cost the earth if we don't know what we are doing. Learn how to create life filled soil and reduce reliance on watering without huge cost and limited effort.
Topics covered will include:
• Water wise gardening
• too much or too little water
• Reducing the need for fertilisers
• Soil care
• Composting / recycling organic matter
Bookings are essential as workshop numbers are limited to ensure everyone gets to fully participate.
Cost $45 per person, includes afternoon tea and a free plant from June’s Home Grown Plants.
