Event Description

Come to visit a urban farm where fruit, vegi, eggs and honey is produced in abundance. Learn and see 'first hand' what is possible to achieve in a rental property. There will be a lot of practical and inexpensive ideas for sustainable living  (eg. Selfwatering planter box, Fruit nad vegi pyramid,  home made citrus fabric softener, washing detergent, Solar hot water system for less than $50, Fruit fly trap, worm farm as a planter pot etc). A demonstration will be followed by a garden tour, tasting of home produce: solar baked cake, raw honey and "healthy" home brew.

Be inspired to take the first step... and create your own Utopia.
