This outing will be a Lunch time event. The Cafe' is under cover so that should keep the heat at bay whilst we enjoy a meal together. It would be lovely to see as many members and friends of BLF attend. I have placed a little about the Nursery below and you will also find a link to the site of the Nursery & Cafe.

That was a terrific garden visit. My Rozie and I loved it. Amazing nursery, great food and incredible aquarium shop. Yeah, the company was pretty okay too! LOL. Thanks heaps for organising it Dianne.
You are the Queen of GVs, Dianne. You just need to remember that you are dealing with a tough crowd. I can understand northsiders doing their closer visits, and southsiders doing the same. It's a fair call. Oh, and remember this time that last minute sign-ups got put off by the weather. This was a fantastic idea at a time when nobody was "offering up." Well done. The site will have its quiet times. That's not your fault. There would be no GVs without people like you. I count this one as a special event and I won't be bringing raffle tickets. I don't get many chances to spend time with friends like this.
That said, it would help if everyone game some feedback on what they want out of BLF, and what they are willing to put in.
I don't think it's you or your choices Dianne. Neilsens was a great choice.
Really though I think it is the way things are in general. I know so many people trying to get others involved in things and it's always an uphill battle.
We can talk about it more tomorrow.
Yeah OK, I can count but really I think what I am saying is the guys coming are part of the regulars, and I am so pleased and thankful to our regulars. Is it me, if it is it is no skin off my nose to tell me? Is everyone not happy with the choices I make?, If so any member can organize an Event. Would everyone rather to have someone else doing the Events & GV's?
Three attendees from the northside vs two from the southside doth not a "darkside" make. Just saying.
Hi Everyone,
Don't forget we have our Outing to Nielsen's Native Nursery tomorrow 9th, 11.00am to 2.00pm. It is a Lunch Outing and one for those interested in plants for the garden, be it - Herb, Native, Native Bee Flower etc.
The Cafe is under cover. It would be lovely to see a few more members than we have coming. It seems to be the same old, same old members coming along. Is this because it is over on the "Dark Side of Town", we do try to have our Outings & GV's on both side of town so it makes it a little fairer for all members, we like to consider the driving times and distances for everyone.
I'm looking forward to catching up with many of our BLF Members and Friends. I really do need to Book the Lunch to make sure we have tables ready for us so please have your RSVP in by the 26th of January. Please let me know how many will be in your group. You can Message me through my Inbox on the site or leave an SMS or message for me on my phone 0407691485.
Always add photos using the "From my computer" option, even if you are on a mobile phone or other device.
