School holiday activity - Wetland Discovery

Discover some interesting useful native plants and Nurri Millen totem-trail artworks on a 1km walk, test out your taste-buds on some bush foods, have fun making ‘bush-string’, and paint an art-and-craft boomerang to take home, using designs inspired by the colours, shapes, and patterns in nature.
Participants need to arrive 10 minutes earlier than scheduled start time.
NOTE - The short bush foods tasting session uses a small number of commercially produced and packaged foods. Participants with food allergies or special dietary requirements may wish to refrain from taking part in the bush foods session. Please inform the group leader before the activity starts if you will not be partaking.
