Event Description

Parking is available in the school on Lillian Ave Salisbury.

We were at Nyanda State High School back in 2013 then the government closed the school and we had to move.

We have had to down size at the new home. We have 3 long beds 3 small beds and a corner bed.  We also made a pumpkin patch along side the cricket pitch.

We grow Rosella bushes, pigeon peas, lettuce, pineapple, rhubarb, dragon fruit, passion fruit, flowers, chilli, pepino, snake beans, cucumber, sour gherkins, cabbage, globe artichoke, thai basil, basil, dill, coriander, lots of herbs, sweet potato, potatoes, tomatoes, capsicum, egg plant, arrowroot, ginger, beetroot, carrot, banana capsicum, garlic, lemon grass and lots more.

We are only a little garden with 12 members so far and our youngest member is 6 years old. We are covered by Oxley Creek Catchment Association for our insurance.

We will do tea, coffee, water or soft drinks with something to munch on. Toilets will be available to use

We are hoping to do a seed and plant swap on the day in the school hall.

The school and the P&C have given us a shade house for our seedlings and tank water.
