Event Description

Retro markets in Wynnum

The second Wynnum Central Art, Craft, Vintage and Retro Market are being held again on Saturday 2 November starting from 9am and going until 3pm.

The markets will again take place along Edith Street in the heart of Wynnum Central just a few minutes from the foreshore and Wynnum Central rail station.

The inaugural markets in October were a great success attracting some 3,000 curious visitors both local and afar to this delightful Bayside community.

The markets will again feature an eclectic mix of art, craft, vintage and retro stalls. All within reach of the retro and recycling stores that make a visit to Wynnum a bargain treasure hunt. Many of the shops in Wynnum will be open longer than normal on the Saturday with some having special offers.

Edith Street itself, will be closed off to traffic to allow traders and visitors to mix safely.

The markets are now fixed to continue on the first Saturday of each month and a big boost for the Wynnum Central community. It's worth combining a visit with a picnic or fish and chips down on the foreshore.

Information supplied by organiser WynnumCentral.
