Workshop/Speaker Night

With Carmel and Adrian -Pest Identification and home made solutions

Herb of the Month - Valerian with Sandra Johnson
 

  • Meeting starts at 7.30pm - Arrive any time after 7pm to browse the library and plant table
  • Bring along cuttings to share.
  • Herb plants for sale.
  • Supper at 9pm - bring a plate of herby food to share
  • Admission Price: $2 members $3 visitors 
  • Raffle tickets are $1

Bring along your problem plants or leaves to discover what is causing them to ail.

Share with us any special tips or herby help you give to your plants to make them thrive.

We will follow this with  making some herby sprays  and  some further small group discussion with Adrian on any further queries.

Perhaps you might like to bring a small container to take home some of the product we brew in the workshop.

GrowVetiver

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
