Queensland Garden Expo is a 'must see' in 2021 for green thumbs and novice gardeners alike. Held in the Sunshine Coast hinterland town of Nambour from 9th to 11th July, this three day expo is Queensland's premier gardening event. Some of Australia's leading Gardening experts take part in three days of lectures, demonstrations and workshops.

If you need some gardening advice, information or ideas then the Queensland Garden Expo is the place to go. There is a full program of FREE lectures and demonstrations on eight 'live' stages every day covering a vast array of gardening topics.
The Plant Clinic, centrally located near the nursery displays, is the place to go if you need some help with a gardening problem or help with identifying a plant and there are also a large number of Queensland Nursery and Garden Industry members on hand throughout the Expo to provide expert advice. Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion. It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)
GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
