Our guest speaker will be Kemp Killerby from Flora 4 Fauna - Australia. Kemp's company is dedicated to the regeneration of the environment and to raise awareness of native bushfood and fauna hosting plants.

This introductory talk will provide and discuss information on restoring our local natural environment, both micro and macro, with an emphasis on 'planting for wildlife'!

This will include topics such as - Why it is important to revegetate, how to choose the right wildlife host plant species for the site, when and where to plant for the best results, how to prepare a site and how the vegetation planted changes over time, etc.

This talk is suitable for anyone with a passion for revegetating the environment, whether it be your own backyard, vacant / unallocated crown land, a local catchment area, your lifestyle acreage or a big chunk of the country, the principles remain the same.
