Join celebrity chef Dominique Rizzo as she provides great advice on how to limit your food waste, save time and money and create delicious meals at home. Dominique will provide expert tips on what is already in the fridge that can be turned into creative meals, how leftover food can be reused, how to avoid food spoilage through shopping lists, menu planning and food storage and how to use the most common ingredients that tend to be left over.

Watch, learn and enjoy tastings of delicious potato and broccoli hash cakes, vegetable san choy bao, avocado basil and yoghurt dip, beetroot mayonnaise, sweet potato and basil dip sweet corn soup with avocado salsa, banana caramel mousse with peanut praline and yoghurt labneh.

Cost includes information and tips on reducing food waste, a recipe booklet with 11 recipes, shopping list fridge magnet, and Love Food Hate Waste tips, tastings and light refreshments.

VETIVER COMMUNITY PROJECT

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

The Vetiver Community Project is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
