Event Description


During this workshop we will create prints on a scarf or sarong from the amazing variety of plants growing in the Northey Street City Farm Gardens.

We will also create stencil shapes cut from recycled plastic. Make beautiful and colourful designs that can be set into the material so that it is washable.

This workshop will enable participants the skills to successfully upcycle clothing, creating pattern, print and stencil shapes in bright colours which are set into the material and washable.

Cost: $85/ $65 Concession + $12 materials fee + Eventbrite Fee

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
