Event Description

The second Pine Rivers Garden and Plant Fair will be held on the 27th and 28th of April 2019.

The first Fair was really well attended and the feedback extremely positive. Keeping the country feeling to the Fair, and allowing the fur babies back will be fun.

Food, entertainment, guest speakers and many garden and plant stalls to choose from. We will be keeping the entry at $5 again and hope to see you there again.

SUNDAY     28TH APRIL 8.30 - 2.30

Children under 15 free 
$8 for two days 
Access can be made for wheel chairs and people with disability. See our main website and contact convenors for help.

The Fair is focused on gardens and plant lovers of all types with 60 sites to choose from. We will have cottage garden favourites, small trees, large trees, shrubs, seedlings, herbs, succulents, orchids, bromeliads, natives, pots, dove cotes, carnivorous plants and more. 

Guest speakers include Arno King, Russell Young, Carol Kerkin, Barbara Wickes, Leonie Shanahan, Kevin Redd and many others. There are two speakers' tents to choose from. 

Food will be available from QCWA, My Mobile Sweet Spot, Mr Whippy, Eat Djarkta, Captain Gozzy, Chocolate and Coffee Heaven. Coffee is sold at QCWA, My Mobile Sweet Spot and Chocolate and Coffee Heaven. 

Relaxing live music will be in the marquee nearest the food. 

The QGGC are providing the plant crche again this year. Dogs on leashes are welcome. 

Fairies in the garden is the theme this year. Wear your wings and win a prize. 

A major raffle prize will be on display and tickets will be $2 each or 3 for $5.

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
