10th June Workshop – Permaculture Water Management Systems for Suburban & Rural Blocks with Danial Lawton (9.30 am)
Optimal harvesting and retaining of water is a key element of Permaculture design. Danial will explain how water can be effectively managed through design features such as swales, level sill spillways, tanks, ponds, and dams (incl leaky dam repair). Danial is a Permaculture consultant & educator with a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Ecology & Conservation Biology, Land & Water management), Masters in Environmental Management & Environmental Engineering. As a design consultant Danial draws on environmental science & Permaculture principles to design sustainable systems.
