Event Description

Permablitz #31 Stockleigh
Sat April 23rd @ 8:00AM - 05:00PM (Camping option for Saturday Night)
Anna and Tim from All You Can Eat Gardens are hosting a Blitz on their new farm! Yes, FARM. This is no suburban backyard, we’re talking 5 acre working farm with all the essential farm elements you might’ve come to expect, minus Old MacDonald himself.

From Tim:

“Having done countless blitzes I'm super excited to be hosting one myself! The date will be Saturday the 23nd of Apriland it could spill into Sunday morning if you're keen. There's space for large numbers of volunteers on this one so get out of the city and experience some of the country!

Anna and I have bought a small farm 40 minutes south of Brisbane and we'd love to host you to put together some of the design. The pigs will be preparing the ground so we'll move the electric fence to make way for the kitchen garden. We'll then put in raised beds, paths, trellises and veggies. Fencing to keep the chickens and ducks out will surround it. Fruit trees are to be planted, a compost heap will be made, and maybe we'll build a stand for a rainwater tank. There are many projects to learn about.

So come and help out at Auld Farm, we'll spoil you rotten (it's Anna's specialty). We have guest rooms, space to lay sleeping bags and a camp ground if you want to stay the night. There might even be a fire! Bring your togs for a swim in the dam and a guitar: it'll be an event to be remembered.”

Please RSVP to Tim Auld tim@allyoucaneatgardens.com.au and let us know if you’ll be camping and if you have any special dietary requirements.
