The topics covered at each workshop session are:
1.Planning your food garden and working your soil.
2.Planting and garden care.
3.Dealing with pests and diseases.
4.Harvesting and seed saving.
The workshop series is suitable for beginner to moderate level experienced food gardeners. You will be able to see the concepts applied in the presenter's garden and work with these in a practical way during the workshop sessions.

Participant comments:
I recently attended the organic food growing workshop run by Peter Kearney out at Samford. FANTASTIC! I am not an experienced gardener, but finished the 4 week course feeling much more confident and very enthusiastic. Peters understanding and knowledge was invaluable and the course was run in a professional and friendly manner. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who has a desire to grow there own food.
Judy Mackkelvie, Brisbane

I would like to thank you for introducing me to the principles of organic gardening. I found your workshops to be extremely interesting and informative. I do not have a veggie garden just yet, or garden for that matter, however, your workshops have armed me with the knowledge and confidence to give it a go in the very near future. I met some wonderful local people during these sessions who shared their experiences and made a great contribution to the workshops. I am looking forward to catching up with everyone and to hearing their latest gardening stories.
