You will learn through direct demonstration of biodynamic methods in the large and productive organic gardens of the presenter, Peter Kearney. The content of the workshop is personalised to your own food garden situation and as such, the numbers for the workshop are limited to 10 people.
Experience the humus rich compost, learn how make it and get the most value from compost. Understand how to plan and manage your vegetable gardens, orchard and herb gardens, no matter what starting point you have, using time tested organic methods enhanced with biodynamics.
Learn how you can create the highest quality soil using biodynamic methods. Understand how to maintain the vitality of your food plants so they resist pests and diseases and how to establish an ideal balance of life in your food growing spaces. Appreciate how working with biodynamic methods to enhance your organic garden can produce the highest quality food with the least physical inputs of any growing method.
Here is a comment from one of workshop participants in Nov 2014 -
"We had no idea what to expect but we were hoping all the same that our trip from Darwin to Samford for the workshop would be worth it. We loved every moment. It was engaging, informative and educational. Peter is a great adult educator. We highly recommend this workshop to anyone who is interested in biodynamics". Angela and Stephen Connelly.
Workshop fee is $300 for the 2 days and includes workshop notes, 12 month Organic Gardener subscription at www.cityfoodgrowers.com.au, beautiful afternoon tea each day and a pack of biodynamic preparations. Contact Peter Kearney on email@example.com to register.
