The workshop will help you to know where to start with your organic food growing, how to get the most out of your patch and get the timing right, so you will produce the best quality food for your efforts.
The workshop condenses the top tips of Peter Kearney, an experienced organic and biodynamic gardener and is conducted in his garden in Camp Mountain.
The tips will focus on: organic garden design, soil management, planting techniques, plant management and food garden care. You will also participate in two hands on practices of fertilising soil and improving your fruit trees using organic and biodynamic methods.
You will have plenty of opportunity for questions to relate the content to your own space and enjoy a delicious and healthy afternoon tea. Workshop numbers limited to 10 people.
Workshop fee of $35 includes: (1) Great tasting afternoon tea, (2) Written training material, and (3) Friendly people of like mind you will meet whilst getting your hands dirty.
