The workshop is suitable for food growers from small scale to hobby farmers who are interested in ramping up their organic food production in a sustainable way, whilst developing an appreciation of the deeper spirit of nature.
Peter Kearney is an experienced workshop presenter, educator and urban farmer who commenced organic food growing 40 years ago. He has worked with and studied biodynamics for 20 years and run biodynamic workshops for 7 years. Peter is the founder of www.cityfoodgrowers.com.au and a member of Biodynamic Agriculture Australia and in 2011 and 2014 presented at their National Conference. Peter's business also consults to individuals, schools, community organisations and large property developers on integrating sustainable urban agriculture into their environments.

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion. It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)
GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
