A noted sanctuary for wildlife including stingless native bees. Dozens of hives in stunning setting of swamp bloodwood and Eucalyptus dunnii. Plantings for nectar and pollen include native senna, salvias, camellias and roses. An easy, unregimented suburban garden that is a fascinating experience for plant and wildlife enthusiasts.
Talks at 10am, 1pm and 3pm on Australian stingless bees; advice on sugarbag bee-keeping and colony management. Demonstrations of ASB dry split propagation. Special area to interest and educate children on bees in the garden
