This is the garden of Bob Luttrell or Bob the Bee Man.
Bob is a passionate native bee keeper and has many native hives of different designs. Bob will be doing a series of talks/guided tours explaining bees/boxes of which there are many types.
"Tearman"
A noted sanctuary for wildlife including stingless native bees. Dozens of hives in stunning setting of swamp bloodwood and Eucalyptus dunnii.
Plantings for nectar and pollen include native senna, salvias, camellias and roses.
An easy, unregimented suburban garden that is a fascinating experience for plant and wildlife enthusiasts.

Butterfly Host Plants will have a small stall there selling plants and books.

Hot and a bit wet but there was a good crowd of dedicated people there waiting to hear Bob's talk. He positivlely lights up when he's talking about native bees.
Join ANBees if you would like more information or have a look at Bob's website (link above in the body of information).
Peggy and her friend Hazel will be joining us from Toowoomba too.
That's great Paul. That's at least 5 of us at the same time!
I'll be doing Sunday - see you there
I'm going on Sunday morning as well (I hope).
great thanks Elaine - not sure which I will do at this point. P
A choice of either day.
Is this a 2 day event or a choice of either day?
The Elaines will be carpooling with me - room for one more.
I aim to go on Sunday 24th if anyone wants to tag along.
