Event Description
National Tree Day is Australia's biggest community tree planting event.
The Morningside Tennis Centre and Transition East will be providing trees funded by the Low Carbon Diet program. Please bring a hat, water bottle and a set of gloves.
There will also be a free Farm tour at 11am, free tennis for the morning, and a free sausage sizzle from 11:30 onwards.

Just wanted to drop a quick note to say thanks to Beelarong Farm for the tour and opportunity to assist with tree planting. It was a good turnout and many hands made light work.. in fact, after planting a star apple, a raspberry and helping with a couple of native plants, most of the work had been finished. Thanks to the tennis center for putting on lunch and the solar cookers looked (and worked) pretty good. Cheers, Brent.

GrowVetiver

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
