Join us as we venture down the rabbit hole of Mushroom culture and cultivation! We will explore the many applications of Fungi in the Permaculture system, and the implications they can have for personal, social and planetary health.
This 6 hour workshop will cover:
-Biology and life cycles
-Methods of home cultivation
-Identification and cloning of wild species
-Incorporating mushrooms into permaculture design
-Basics of the mushroom Laboratory equipment and techniques
-Spores and spawn
-Grow room parameters
-Mycofiltration and remediation

There are so many paths to take in your journey through this relatively 'unexplored mega-science'. Join James to learn the fundamental skills needed to get you started.
James Gibson runs Mushroom Abundance, a small business dedicated to inspiring others to incorporate the philosophy and practice of mushroom cultivation in their communities. His own journey with mushroom cultivation began 2 years ago, and it ignited a passion that drives him to learn and grow every day.
Cost: $85/$65 Health Care Card Holder + Booking Fee.
