Bees Wax Wraps support a plastic free environment. They are a great substitute for cling wrap, perfect for keeping food fresh in your fridge, lunch boxes and picnic baskets. In this workshop you will make at least four sizes of wraps for storing/covering/wrapping fruit, veg, herbs, nuts, sandwiches, bread, crackers and fermented foods for your lunchbox, fridge or pantry.

Materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own cotton material to cut into shape for a beeswax wrap.

A perfect present for a loved one! A lovely sustainable gift for mother's day.

Desi Achilleos has worked as a community artist for over 20 years. She currently works at Northey Street City Farm and completed her Permaculture Design Certificate in 2017. She has a passion for natural fibre art and creating art in community settings.
