Event Description

Call in sick, take a leave day and get the kids in the car because we are going on a trip to food gardener's paradise!

Just a short drive across the boarder and we will arrive at the idyllic, lush and productive, permaculture demonstration property, Zaytuna Farm.  This is probably one of the best examples of abundant food growing you are ever likely to see. Come along with us (in your own car or carpool) next Friday 16 August to Zaytuna Farm (includes organic lunch) and a visit to Daley's fruit tree nursery.

I suggest you put your normal life on hold, pull the kids out of school for the day (what an education this will be for them) and come and immerse yourself in this inspiring and productive property.  Here is a video of the farm to whet your appetite Zatuna Farm Tour Video.

Please RSVP on the event on Logan Food Gardeners to let us know you are coming.  If you are not already a member of Logan Food Gardeners you will need to join at www.loganfoodgardeners.org

We look forward to seeing you on the trip.

G'day Liz,

Chris D in Ipswich and I would like to join your tour of Zaytuna tomorrow.  I can make my own way to The Channon and be there around 10:00 hrs.

Just a small detail of travelling 70klms across town to start the journey then getting back. Not an option for us, unfortunately.

You know you want to.  You deserve it.  Just do it!

Come along to the food growing oasis of Zaytuna Permaculture Demo Farm and Daley's Fruit Tree Nursery this Friday.  What could be better than a day of swales, food forests, an organic lunch and fruit trees?

We would love to see you there.

Sounds like you'll have a great day though Lyn. Let us know how it goes.

You don't need to live in Logan to join Logan Food Gardeners.  You just need to live in a local government area adjacent to Logan (Brisbane, Ipswich, Redlands, Scenic Rim or Gold Coast).  If you are outside that area and would still love to come, just put a comment here and ask to come.  The more the merrier

That is a shame Lissa.  It would have been great to catch up.

Sounds fabulous! Would love to visit Daleys one day too. Friday would have to be my biggest work day though, so not happening this time around (no workee, no payee).
