Annie will discuss the practical needs of a variety of chook breeds, as well as Housing; Enclosures; Health and Responsible Animal Care. If you have decided that it's time to add some chooks to your permaculture system, or you've already taken the step, but are still a bit unsure of what you are doing, come along and get all your questions answered at this fun presentation.
These FREE events and workshops are open to everyone in the community, not just members and volunteers at the Gardens and there is no need to book a place - unless otherwise indicated for that particular workshop.
It is advisable to bring along a notepad and pen for taking notes, as well as a hat, sunscreen and your water bottle.
