Event Description

Look who is attending the Ipswich Plant Expo 2015 - YES Costa Georgiadis – host of ABC Gardening Australia. How exciting is this! Just one of the many awesome and very informative speakers attending next year’s event.

Over 100 Plant and Garden exhibitors are booking in very quickly to attend the Ipswich Plant Expo 2015 - Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March 2015. Gates open at 8am. Only $7 entry for adults and children get in for free.

Awesome speakers stages, new and improved Kids Zone, massive food court serving international foods from around the world, plants and gardening equipment, specialized and rare species of plants and flowers, organic and edible plants and food, garden allied products…..the list just goes on and on….mark it down in the diary as one of THE event’s to visit for 2015.

The Ipswich Plant Expo will be running its fourth show on 7-8th March 2015 and the people of South East Queensland have embraced the event as the best specialised plant expo during the wet season – it’s a tropical/subtropical plant collector’s paradise.

Mayor of Ipswich Paul Pisasale will again open the event which sees thousands of people flock to the Racecourse grounds from across the state and interstate. Ipswich is recognised as one of the progressive city regions in Queensland and has the benefit of being just 35 minutes from Brisbane CBD.

The event was created as a result of so much sadness after the 2011 floods. People wanted to get back into gardening but did not know how. The event helped locals by bringing the knowledge to them with guest speakers, specialist plant sellers and a welcoming smile.

The local people love to hear local speakers such as Paul Plant, Arno King, Claire Bickle, Noel Burdette, plus many others. It’s their practical and entertaining presentations that gardeners keep talking about.
