You may have heard recently about the pressure both Honey Bees and our little Natives are under here in Australia. Land clearing, pesticides, pests and disease are some of the main culprits in threatening these essential workers within our food production system. There has never been a better time to become a beekeeper and help secure the future of this important and amazing animal.
Suited to the beginner and the more advanced beekeeper
As part of our pilot year our current workshops are designed for the hobby gardener. These informal workshops usually run for a half day or a full day depending on the subject and cater for those who may be starting from scratch or seeking an introduction to a new gardening topic. Running once a month at the moments topics have included beekeeping and citrus care with soil improvement, spring fruit tree care and more still to come.
Grow your passion and knowledge by searching our workshops below.
Places are limited for all workshops so early registrations are recommended
