How to Make Sourdough Bread

Rosanna Wordsworth

9.30 am

Rosanna is passionate about the lacto-fermentation of food and enjoys sharing her knowledge of these traditional food preparation techniques.

Many dietary and nutritional health challenges are caused by commercial bread making techniques and the use of modern yeast “cultures.’

Come along and learn about the health benefits of eating sourdough-cultured bread.

Rosanna will discuss and demonstrate a variety of simple traditional sourdough bread making techniques and show you how to make two very different Sourdough Starters.  She will explain the process of using the starters to make a variety of sourdough products

Rosanna will also introduce you to Water Kefir (a natural probiotic beverage) and Dairy Kefir both of which can be used in the sourdough bread making.

Tastings of Pineapple Water Kefir, several sourdough breads, Sourdough Waffles and Cultured Kefir Cream Cheese
