Leonie Shanahan, well- known around the Sunshine Coast for her Edible School Gardens programs and Organic Vegetable Gardening Workshops, has been creating thriving vegetable gardens with her ‘No-Dig’ method for years.
A ‘No-Dig’ vegetable garden is often called a Lasagne garden due to having many layers, repeated, and this is the method Leonie will demonstrate with us.
It's all about getting your soil/garden bed right to have the best quality vegetables growing - using less water and requiring less maintenance once established.
This is a hands-on workshop; we will be making a ‘no-dig’ garden so bring a hat, water and gloves.
These FREE events and workshops are open to everyone in the community, not just members and volunteers at the Gardens and there is no need to book a place.
For more information or to be included on our mail-out list for workshop reminders: info@yandinacommunitygardens.com.au
Always add photos using the "From my computer" option, even if you are on a mobile phone or other device.
