Event Description

The Handmade Redcliffe artisan market will be delighting the residents and visitors of the peninsula area once again this Saturday 3 August.

From 2.30pm – 7pm, the Woody Point Memorial Hall will be transformed from a community hall housing dance classes and craft workshops into a handmade marketplace as it becomes 'Handmade Redcliffe'.
From 31st August, Handmade Redcliffe will move to Humpybong State School (again close to the sea as it's just across the road from the school). There is plentiful parking and the change of venue will allow more stalls to trade at the market and showcase their wares.

One of the things that makes Handmade Redcliffe unique is that it's a curation of all manner of handmade, supported by shoppers who are seeking niche, handmade products and who enjoy meeting the local artisans that make them.

The 2.30pm start time means that this is a twilight market. It allows visitors to have a sleep in and then meander down to the hall at their own leisure. Once there, visitors can enjoy a hot chocolate, chai, tea or espresso coffee from a vintage coffee caravan, a woodfired pizza from Fire n Dough Woodfired Pizzas and spoil themselves with a sweet treat from The Chocolate Cakery or Sugarplum Cake Design. If you enjoy a good jam or chutney, why not visit Louise from Berry Good Jams and Chutneys.
