9am – 12pm: The Cultivated Ecology (Growing Healthy Veggies) -  PDC Series - Fully Booked

Seasonal selection, crop rotation, companion planting and other ways to get the best out of your edible garden. Full-day fee if booked together with Establishing and Maintaining a Vegetable Garden on the same day.

Cost: $50 / $35  (Healthcare Card holder) or $85 / $65 (Healthcare Card holder) when booked together with Establishing & Maintaining a Vegetable Garden

1pm – 4:30pm: Establishing and Maintaining a Vegetable Garden  - PDC Series Fully Booked

Hands on workshop to teach you the skills to turn garden waste and organic materials into your own no-dig vegetable garden. Learn the art of planting, growing and maintaining your own home vegetable patch. Full-day fee if booked together with Growing Healthy Vegies on the same day.

GrowVetiver

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
