Event Description

Grow &  Cook with Unusual Tropical Food Plants

Saturday 21 March

10.00-2.00pm     at Ecobotanica 8 Silverash Court Capalaba

Tropical food plants are perfect to grow in our climate. They have fewer pest and disease problems and are delicious to eat- if you know how to prepare them properly.

We’ll enjoy the experience of growing and enjoying some very unusual vegies today. If you’d like to grow wonderful beans and peas, heirloom varieties, and rare roots and funky fruits, join in this class. There’ll be plenty of plants to purchase at the class for your garden, plus you’ll enjoy making and tasting some delicious dishes made fresh from the garden.

This class is different to the one held on 2014, as this time we explore the summer and autumn varieties, so do come and join us.

Deliciously just $75 including food, notes and freebies.
