9.30am -11.30am.

In this workshop, Oriole Morgan will demonstrate how to turn fruit, vegetables, bush tucker plants and edible weeds into yummy green smoothies to raise our stomach’s hydrochloric acid level as well as helping to improve digestion and food absorption.

Yandina-Blue-House

Come along and learn how to reduce cholesterol levels, high blood pressure, pain and dis-ease naturally, by simply adding smoothies to your lifestyle. Oriole will also show you how to make raw macadamia 'cheeze', 'nut mylk', cashew butter and pumpkin soup. As there will be a taste testing of all the food, please bring along a mug and spoon.

 

The Blue House, Yandina Community Gardens, cnr North & Farrell Streets, Yandina.

This is a free workshop and bookings are not required.

GrowVetiver

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
