Come and enjoy a beautiful Sunday morning brunch by the river. Children can explore the park and be dazzled by free circus workshops, kite making, cubby building and live performances throughout the day. There’s lots for mum and dad too, with community garden presentations, bike workshops and markets. 

Everyone is encouraged to test their skills with Brisbane Roar players in an inflatable soccer match.

This family-friendly get together promises to be a fun-filled morning with something for everyone.

  • Children’s performances by Lissa & Nee Nee and Tim Jackman – the ‘King of the Kids’
  • Live music by Miss Elm
  • Circus workshops

VETIVER COMMUNITY PROJECT

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

The Vetiver Community Project is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
