The main purpose of the event is to help Council plant  trees, shrubs and other grasses. Free native plants will be there for those who show dedication and commit to putting these seedlings in the ground at home or a friend’s place. You can also connect with Habitat Brisbane, Creek Catchment and other environmental groups to chat about what projects are already being done how you can be more involved locally. You’re encouraged to bring your own nude food picnic lunch, reusable water bottle, hat, sunscreen and sturdy covered shoes.
