Wonderful Susanne, just the type of event I would have enjoyed. Do you know if Gail does workshops over my way, I will have to keep my ears open.

Enjoy trying out your new products.

So glad to hear that someone attended one of these events that I regularly list AND gave feedback. Thank you. I never have any idea if anyone goes or not. Glad you found it useful Susanne.

Still has the flavour of the bicarbonate but I'm finding that either the longer It sits or the more I get used to it the orange flavour is more prevalent but not obliterating the bicarbonate flavour.
My mouth feels way cleaner and seems fresher for longer.
So it is a win for me.

My Dad was a bit weird (see, I came by that honestly!) ;-) and we used someone's Tooth Powder when I was a kid. Pepperminty, frightful stuff. The orange sounds much nicer especially from your own oranges (wouldn't use commercial ones for that).

You can just add some water to some till it is a paste consistency or leave it as powder.
I just dip my wet brush in the powder.
Separate containers are the go.

Sounds fabulous! Is that tooth powder rather than paste?

What a fabulous experience this workshop was, one of the best workshops I have ever attended.
It was in the beautiful setting of the Bethania Community garden, they are to be congratulated on the abundance within this garden.
Initially Gail handed out a booklet of info that she had compiled. She talked through it to give us a well rounded appreciation then taught from the relevant sections of it. It covered the basics and will be an ongoing reference to allow us to grow into this craft.
We were shown how to create our own synergy of essential oils then use that blend to create our own naturally derived water based refresher spritz and oil based face/body serum.
To round it off we learnt how to make toothpaste. Equal amounts of bicarbonate and ground dried orange rind blitzed in a coffee grinder. I added half again of the orange rind and will never use bought toothpaste again. Can't wait to start saving the rinds from the oranges in my garden. Gail said she makes it in a large container then decants it to individual containers for each member of the family.
We were supplied with relevant containers for all three products so I came away with products that I can use and make at home and they work...
