Event Description

Sunday, 15 October 2017,

6am - 2pm

This is the time open from - until

Croydon Road, Woodridge (opposite the Woodridge train station), why not get the train in and leave the car at home.

Why not come and enjoy a day out with the international atmosphere and experience more than 200 nationalities and cultural experiences including multi-cultural costumes and shopping? The market provides international breakfast foods from Europe, Africa and Asia.

I thought it might be lovely if we could enjoy breakfast or lunch at one of the many venues, before or after browsing the many stalls and stocking up on sort after produce and growing materials.

Before, during or after shopping make a meal of it in the street food alley that looks and smells like it has been beamed up from a village in South East Asia. Here you’ll find hawkers peddling Thai, Cambodian and Vietnamese street food, with generous plates of food $7 or less.

Not only is this the best value food around, it is also the most authentic in a think-you-died- and-went-to-Asia kind of way.

Please consider coming along to this Event on Sunday 15th October. I am sure we will find new and exciting vegetables we could grow as enjoying the sights and sounds of a busy market. We plan to have Breakfast after meeting up outside the railway station at 8.30am. If you are unable to make it for breakfast then give me a call (0407691485) when you arrive and we will tell you where to find us. Look forward to a great day out.

If you put yourself on the attending list up the top and then find you can't make it would you please remember to take your name off as we would like to have a bit of an idea of numbers. Thanks so Much

A great idea, especially as it is right on the railway line. A chance for all those in BLF to find out what is going on and to sample the many national food types in the area. Is it just my opinion or are there far more different groupings of different nationalities on the south of the river rather than the north? Or am I just unaware (ignorant) of what is going on. Come on now don't hold back!!!

I can see from the photos that members may find a lot of New Tubers etc to use as growing material.

Elaine, if circumstances change for you, this is an easy place to get to on the train as it is just across the road from the Woodridge Railway Station. Do hope you can come along.

I would so love to go to this. Currently that is not possible but who knows ... circumstances can change.

My! Just look at those Sweet Potatoes!
