Cathie has written a short description of her garden:
My garden is anything but manicured. It is a tad on the Wild Side and is always a work in progress but it is productive. I can usually find something in the garden for a meal and that suits me. The front verandah is wrapped in a passion fruit vine, I have citrus producing in the backyard and quite a few varieties of greens growing at the moment. I have two bee hives (Flow hives) in the front yard which I love, so if anyone is interested to see how they operate or learn more about these amazing creatures I'd be happy to share what I have experienced over the last couple of years.
The block is a battle axe easement on a cul de sac so not much parking in the street but plenty in adjacent streets. Mostly flat yard and bathroom access is on the ground floor.
Cathie will also be giving a talk -
My Gardening 'Heroes', people who have formed her thinking about how to grow food.
Children welcome but must be supervised by parents at all times.
Please bring a small plate of food or drink to share and any plants, produce or seed that you would like to share, swap or sell.
It is always a good idea to bring along a chair as we do sometimes have more visitors than chairs available at GV gardens.
RSVP required so that the address can be sent to you closer to the date. The email address you nominated when you joined will be used. Please update this if it has changed.
Late attendees welcome. Message Dianne or phone 0407691485 on the day for the address.

Hey Everyone, I'm so sorry I missed today's GV. I had it in my head that it was Sunday. (It's been a really hectic week and I think my brain must be fried!) I hope you all had a great time as usual.
Please hold back comments for GV until tomorrow night when I put the Report in for our GV at Cathie's.
Just a quick update on the raffle. We made $33 today which will host the site for a month and a half. Added to a donation, we scored two months worth of hosting!
GV report will no doubt appear elsewhere.
Thanks Andy, see you then.
I'll try to harvest you some kumquats in the morning, Dianne!
No need to sell the tickets Andy, I've already won it. Just kidding but I would love to win it.
I will be running our first BLF funding raffle. I've donated a bottle of my home made Kumquatcello. Tickets will be $1 each or 3 for $2.
Morning Everyone, Address has been sent out at 10.25am to all members who are or might be attending GV on Sat 14th.
They have been sent to the email address you joined up with so if you changed email addresses since joining you will need to change it in your profile.
For all wanting to attend after 10.25am on Thurs please contact Dianne either by phone or text, 0407691485, thanks so Much..
Hope to see a good roll up.. Cheers.. Dianne
If anyone has Kumquats to spare I would be so thankful and will give you in exchange a jar or two of my Special Chilli Kumquat Jam, fabulous with Pork, Curries or on a Cracker with Sour Cream.
Hi Everyone,
Don't forget about our Garden Visit to Cathie's on Saturday, I will send out the address on Thursday, if you don't receive it by Thurs night please phone, text or email me through the BLF Inbox. You will need to Friend me to send me emails if you haven't done so already.
I know the Garden Expo is, it is on for 3 days so I am hoping to still see a good turn out to Cathie's.
Also I would like to start organizing the GV Calendar for 2019 if anyone would like to hold a GV.
See you there... Dianne
