A Message from Muriel about her lovely garden -
We moved into this Retirement Village 10 months ago and are fortunate to have one of four large courtyards, two with a North East aspect, one of which is ours. In addition there is three year old Residents' Garden which is well worth a visit.
Gardening in pots and containers is a challenge to say the least. Herbs, including micro herbs, root vegetables, salad greens, ginger, turmeric, onion and garlic are among the edibles I am trying to grow. Fruits include pomegranate, mulberry, blue berries, a fig and of course passion fruit.
There is no way I could garden without "my" worms so they are in a rather small container and a large bucket is used for compost.
The Village has safe and easy access and there should be sufficient parking on a Saturday morning.
Please bring a small plate of food or drink to share and any plants, produce or seed that you would like to share, swap or sell.
It is always a good idea to bring along a chair to GV's.
RSVP required so that the address can be sent to you closer to the date. The email address you nominated when you joined will be used. Please update this if it has changed.
Late attendees welcome. Message Dianne or phone 0407691485 on the day for the address.
Thank You so much Muriel for hosting this GV.

Kombucha Mother is your Dianne :) She's in a jar with cloth cover and growing rapidly.
Muriel is after some strawberry runners on the day if any attendees have some to spare.
Thanks so much for that Cheryl, I look forward to growing them on.
Dianne, have some cranberry hibiscus for you - I think they may have struck and will bring them on Saturday
Has anyone got any excess grains for water kefir? If so would appreciate a donation
Yes I would love your Kombucha Mother if you trust me to look after it.
I have a Kombucha Mother in a jar with cover to give away. Any takers? Don't want to bring it unless someone is willing to give it a home.
Hi Muriel - is there anything you are looking for re seeds or cuttings? I'll be interested in seeing your 'pot garden' as that's similar to what I have now due to the subsoil that makes up my backyard.
Thanks LIssa, see you at Muriels
