I've pencilled the 7th into the calendar. It's also my sister birthday lol, but I'm sure she'll understand me going to a workshop instead!
Garden is going great guns. Wish I had a bigger piece of land so I could actually keep myself (and family) supplied with veg all year round. Learning all the time so workshops like yours are invaluable.
No worries Lissa ... it gets a bit hectic at the end of the year. Look forward to meeting one day! This is my last workshop for the year and the final one until 7 January 2012 at Yandina Community Gardens. They will have a packed calendar next year so plenty more opportunities.

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion. It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)
GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
