Event Description

Bookings essential. From the Ground Up is a 4 part workshop series on how to garden and grow plants sustainably. The methods and practices in the workshops are designed to restore and nurture the environment and to assist you in growing your garden harmoniously with nature.  Each workshop is independent of the others and you do not need to attend them all. This month’s workshop is about propagating plants through seed, cuttings and division. You will receive information about how to make your own propagation soil mix, care for your developing plants, save money and learn about the seasonal cycle of plant life. The practical activity involves making paper pots and planting seeds, cuttings and divisions to take home and care for. Please wear a hat and covered shoes. Meet at the Kitchen in the Gardens.
