Learn how to make your own feta cheese at home in this three hour seminar as well as taste test fermented foods such as sourdough bread, sourdough pikelets, cultured butter, sauerkraut, kimchi, fermented fruit paste, miso, tempeh, kombucha tea, beet kvass, fruit wine as well as the feta cheese!
Hands on participation from the class volunteers will show how to make feta cheese, quark, sauerkraut, kimchi/ fermented fruit paste. Handouts and recipes included. Cost is $45 and it will be held at 102 Mc Donald Rd, Windsor, Brisbane.

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion. It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)
GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
