Come along and learn how to ferment food and drink for the health of yourself and your family and friends. Stop paying ridiculous prices for these live probiotic rich foods from health food stores and start making them in your own kitchen. 


Attend a 3 hour hands on workshop where you will learn how to make fermented foods and drink. You will leave with the confidence and the knowledge of how to do this safely in your own home. 

Your ticket price includes: tasting of all ferments, kombucha scoby + starter tea (valued at $25), kefir culture (valued at $25, either water or milk depending on culture availability), jar of sauerkraut, complete step by step workbook and online support with Fermented Betty once you get home. 

Please note, participants will have to bring materials, so please provide your email address and Kerris will send you a list of material you will need. 

Learn with Kerris who is an avid fermenter and a local Redcliffe, Queensland resident. She has many years of experience in fermenting food and drink and is keen to pass on her knowledge to you, so that you may also reap the benefits of fermented foods.

I attended one of Kerris' free library workshops and it was great fun. She is very! knowledgeable and has many hints for success with fermenting.

GrowVetiver

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
