We’ll launch into the delicious and very healthy world of lacto-fermentation. You can create gut healthy pickles, slaws, drinks and lots more goodies at home.
Fermenting is all the rage at the moment, because we have rediscovered the knowledge that our ancestors used to promote their own health. We are now discovering how fermented foods contribute enormously to gut health which in turn helps with all sorts of illnesses including irritable bowel, skin conditions and even depression.
At this class you will make a selection of easy, safe fermented goodies to brighten up your meals and to use the abundance of summer produce. Your tummy will thank you for it! You’ll find out how to tell if the ferment is good or not, how to tell when your food is ready to eat , and I’ll share our favourite, delicious fermented recipes with you.
