Dianne; We have been gardening here for 40 years, when we arrived here ready to garden we were confronted with clay, 100% clay except for some nasty builder's rubble left behind. Well we set to work and had many truck loads of the best Lantana Soil. Our soil is now beautiful, full of worms and just what a gardener wants to grow almost anything in.

Our garden is still undergoing a revamp of the Rose Garden along with the Woodland Garden getting an upgrade. We are also in the middle of preparing a new Fern Garden.

We have many Citrus Trees as well as many Fruit Trees. We have a Vegetable Garden, though we also grow Vegies in other parts of the garden. You will find many Flowering Plants to attract Bees into our space that we call Home. We grow many of our Citrus Trees and Herbs in Clay Pots and find this very successful for us.

We are having the Gardens fully irrigated with an automated system so we can go away and not have to worry about getting others to look after the garden. We have had to have paths ripped up and much vegetation disturbed, so please don't mind the look of some areas.

I have been making Cheese for more that 5 years now and love it, when I get the chance. I love to make Cheese with a Buddy so let me know if you would like a lesson from a non professional, no charge.

Well I hope this has given you an insight into our Gardening Life.

Children welcome but must be supervised by parents at all times.

Please bring a small plate of food or drink to share and any plants, produce or seed that you would like to share, swap or sell.

It is always a good idea to bring along a chair as we do sometimes have more visitors than chairs available at GV gardens.

RSVP required so that the address can be sent to you closer to the date. The email address you nominated when you joined will be used. Please update this if it has changed.

Late attendees welcome. Message Dianne or phone 0407691485 on the day for the address.

It's easy. Check HERE read the blurb and message Dianne

No, No, No, if you continue to scroll down the link/page after the All Day Breaky you will find pages and pages of Menu items.

Am I right in assuming all they have is an All-Day Breakfast? Their 'news' links contain reviews of similarly-named places but not necessarily the one local to you Dianne.

Can you find out *exactly* what they will have available come this Sunday?

I have just spoken to the Cafe' and they have suggested that as the kitchen will close at 2.00pm it would be a good idea if they have us pre-order from their Menu, here is a link   they close around 3.00pm. There will be desserts in the Cabinet for sale.

They are proud of their Service and would like to be able to help us to have a lovely meal with good service on the day. The Cafe' is called K & K Coffee House, Austrian.

Good Morning Everyone, We have had 70mm approx of rain since the downpour began. We also made the mistake of having irrigation put into our gardens and lawn that began the day before the rains began. Peter the Irrigation man did a marvelous job considering the conditions. Well we have a mucky muddy mess here at the moment as pavers and large walking rocks had to be removed so as pipes could be laid underneath they now on the way to be putting back but to get to the reason I am writing this. Please do not wear your best shoes as it is sure to still be wet underfoot. And please excuse the fact that the rest of the place will be lets say not at it's best.

A few of us plan to go to a lovely little Austrian Cafe Style/Resturant after the GV. Here is a link ; ; if you would like to take a peak at the deserts that are To Die For...If you would like to join us please let me know here.
