September Garden Visit and Worm Farm Demo

We are fortunate to have Hap Happy coming to demonstrate worm farming. Hap will give a talk and demonstration of how to make a worm ranch with cheap, readily available items (no need to buy expensive worm gear). He will also bring along worms on the day, at a cost of $20 for the worms and provide the boxes for free and show you how to assemble them, so we would appreciate you letting us know how many you require when he comes. Hap does a fun presentation, so it will be an enjoyable morning. He also will bring some worm 'pee' along and calcium and magnesium and sand to make the little critters happy. If no one tapes it I expect copious notes - or maybe a forum thread to explain exactly what I am supposed to do for the wee beasties so they don't die from neglect lol. Mind you that's assuming I *don't* attend - I am still hoping it will all be over by then...

Thanks for organizing this worm farming demonstration, and I'd like to put my hand up for one box for now. Will see whether I can organize something with Donna & Vanessa closer to the date as you guys live relatively closer to my place. Probably can't help with video taping though as my camera's video function is very pixely and only capable of very short clips.

Bugger, might not make this one (baby is due on 13th or 16th) and I really want to get worm farm started too!

Please put me down for at least one lot of worms/ boxes - two if available. I can transfer the funds directly to your account and pick them up at a later date or maybe another member closer to my place can pick them up.

Does anyone have a video camera that they could tape it for me in case I can't make it (if Hap Happy doesn't mind)...
