Dance with the Planets

This fascinating workshop is on the 14th November 2009 and explores the impact of the planets and the cosmos on your life and your gardens. Its not only for gardeners, but for anyone wanting to get a deeper understanding of the planets.

The workshop is delivered by Brian Keats, who travels around Australia and internationally running workshops on this subject. Brian is also author of a number of books including the Biodynamic planting guide for Australia for the last 20 years.

The workshop runs from 10am to 9pm and will be held in the beautiful acreage gardens of Peter Kearney in Samford, Brisbane. No prior knowledge of astronomy is expected. I have attended a number of Brian's workshops and he is a great teacher.

The day part of the workshop will involve participatory learning in gaining an understanding of the planets. We will have a beautiful dinner of Thai food, which is provided, and after dinner do some guided star gazing with Brian talkiing about the planets in the night sky. Its an ideal night being close to the new moon so it will be a very dark sky, great for viewing stars.

The length of time will help you to also get to know other workshops participants in a beautiful environment

The workshop fee including dinner and afternoon tea is $75 per person (with a $10 discount for paid members of our web site).

Payment prior to the event is preferred to secure your place as numbers are limted to 25 people. Once you register we can send you further information with payment options, by credit card, bank transfer or cheque. You can also pay on the day by cash or cheque, but your booking will be subject to the number of people who have paid in advance.
